BiH Grand Rapids is excited to sign Alexis Mendez to the upcoming season

Grand Rapids, MI – BiH Grand Rapids is thrilled to sign Alex Mendez to the 2019 squad. Mendez will bring an incredible amount of talent and experience to the team. He has previously played for Grand Rapids FC, Lansing City Futsal and Alliance FC. In addition, he has won all-district, all-conference, allregion, all-state and first team awards throughout all four years in high school. Additionally, throughout his college career he was awarded all-american.

When asked about how he felt joining the team he commented, “I’m happy to be a part of BiH GR and looking forward to the season and accomplishing many objectives with the group of guys and coaching staff we will have”. BiH owners are also extremely pleased with Mendez and the opportunity to work with him. “We are thrilled to have signed Alexis for the 2019 season. We have seen him grow over the past few years into one of the best players in the state. He is a very talented young player who has played internationally for a professional club in Guatemala. We cannot wait for him to start playing in our colors and I think he’s one player our fans will really be excited to watch”.

Coach George Moni is also extremely eager to have Mendez be a part of BiH’s inaugural season. “I am very pleased to have Alex join our BiH Grand Rapids Team. He is a player that brings a lot of creativity and versatility in our attacking side. I have had the opportunity to work with Alex before and I always was impressed by his professionalism and commitment to play with the highest quality”. He further added, “Alex is also an extremely gifted dribbler, this will be key in breaking down opposing defenses to help us win big games. I am certain he will be a fan favorite.
